Greenvue Kindergarten (Rated Exceeding in all seven quality areas) is an approved state-funded sessional kindergarten located in Melbourne’s outer western suburb of Tarneit (Wyndham City). We work together with our families and local community to create a warm, nurturing and creative environment for our children. One where children can thrive and learn as individuals and with each other, preparing them for their exciting school years ahead and the remarkable world around them.
Our kindergarten program is based on the Reggio Emilia Approach and determined by the children’s individual needs and interests and offers resources and experiences to meet them. These experiences are play based which is the most effective way children learn. As educators, we resource and facilitate their learning through play and encourage every child to reach their unique potential.
As part of our values we respect the individual needs of each child, encourage active engagement; play based developmentally appropriate curriculum, exploration and experimentation, literacy and numeracy and partnership with families and our local community.
Our kindergarten provides a wonderful learning environment for 3-5 year olds. Our teachers and educators have wide-ranging experience and a nurturing, positive approach. We run both funded pre-kinder & funded kinder programs every academic year including school holidays (except Victorian public holidays).
